Premier League Games 1/2/3 April '23

I think you're going to win this. So much more hard work and belief than the Harry Kane team. It might need to be an own goal, but I predict a win.

Hope so, take any type of win atm but its a struggle watching us attack. Just need to stop Kane from getting any more chances as he wont keep missing

If their medical and training staff are competent they will be making sure he has higher than normal hydration and food/allowed supplements that support water retention during the night and morning when the sun is down. He’ll obviously be more thirsty than others after 35 minutes of a match, but I am sure he wasn’t anywhere near passing out.

No I was exaggerating. I was more thinking about afternoon kick offs really aswell. I’m no scientist but we’re not camels. No matter how much additional liquid or supplements they have just before dawn, it must be very difficult to go through a whole match without taking on any liquid at all.

Even in much simpler times back when I was doing sports, it was always drilled into you how important taking on liquids was during high levels of exercise.

Spurs are #1 in the Prem for the largest proportion of their goals scored being in the second half of games.

City were 0-2 down against them at half time and won 4-2… Typical City!

It’s not ideal—and, as I said, he will be more thirsty than others—but he wouldn’t be playing if it significantly impacted his performance.
