This is what I was referring to with a Chelsea win being favourable:

ResultStandings (Assuming Liverpool beat Leeds - their game in hand)
Chelsea winCity 53, Chelsea 45, Liverpool 44
DrawCity 53, Liverpool 45, Chelsea 43
Liverpool winCity 53, Liverpool 47, Chelsea 42

A draw would still be good.

Burnley will go, cos they can't score.
So, they stay up for many years then along come some Yanks with a leveraged buy out. Go down with large debt that wasn't there before to wander the lower reaches under the kind administration of ignorant owners. Another Blackburn, chickens coming home to roost.

The yanks probably don't even know relegation is a thing.

Draw the best outcome for us, Chelsea win next best - especially if we then beat Chelsea at home next game up
