I think hes given a red because the ball was miles away and it had an air of lashing out in frustration about it from a player who’d been on toast all game.

Far worse, much higher.

The height makes no difference, there was barely any force or contact with the Trippier one. It was just a knee high trip and the contact was just a flick of the foot with the outside but of his toes.

I think our fanbase have proper overreacted about that since it happened. There was a worse tackle by one of their other players earlier in the game that nobody’s really mentioned since… Guimares (spelling?) I think it was against Rodri.
