If Delap has a come back year and gets 15+ championship goals, gets back on the wonder kid development path, I would not be surprised at all if Brighton came in for him after selling Ferguson.
Dan cashworth job is done at nufc, thats why Brighton were happy to let him go. He see what needs to be done and gets it implemented. Once that is done he has nothing else to do.Agree with this and if they finish 8th they'll stick with him just because they are ahead of schedule..
Replace him with Andrew Moran.Chelsea, the arse, the rags and even spurs all need a goal scoring CF, so i think they will test your resolve next summer.
Pep picked him for a league game he scored a cracker looked great now because we are a team that have to win win trophies he didn't get much of a sniff after that! At Brighton he would of played 30+ league games..
Evan Ferguson has had record transfer fee written all over him for at least a year now.
£150m? £200m? The way the market has gone Brighton can name their price.
Chelsea enter the chat...They can name what they want but no **** is paying a fee like that for Ferguson.
Not unless he converts to Islam. They can name what they want but no **** is paying a fee like that for Ferguson.
His big problem is his injury history. First he did his ankle just as he was breaking into the first team with league cup appearances and the league debut. If he’d stayed fit he’d have played 4/5 more games that season and maybe broken out.
Then he got injured at the end of 21/22 which meant that when he went on loan to Stoke he was unfit and out of form and trying to make his way in mens professional football for the first time.
Didn’t help that his dad got fired at Stoke which meant that 1) his reason for being there had gone and 2) the staff who had faith in him and brought him to the club weren’t there.
I really hope this is his season.
