Premier League Games 1/2/3 Sept '23

With no vvd, the best defender in the history of the game and the massive holes TAA leaves I thought villa stood a chance of doing them today with their pace upfront but that doesnt seem to be happening.

Dippers are a million miles off us and i dont feel any threat from them but just as with arsenal last season, They don't need to be better than us they just need to be better than the rest to compete.

That's it really. They will beat most teams, as will Arsenal. It then comes down to how we do against them both. Beating Arsenal both games last season proved crucial in the end. Forget Anfield we never get anything there but we do okay against them at our place. I'm still annoyed Newcastle bottled it against them.

Emery with the stupidest tactics I've ever seen, play a high line against Liverpool without any pressing, it's suicide.

He had his honeymoon period and in fairness they did look miles better under him. They've reverted back to being mainly inconsistent crap again now.
