most teams sat off us last season and didn't attack much but the way we set up makes us naturally vulnerable. Pep is on record saying the way he plays relies on the ability of defenders to defend one vs one....this makes any team vulnerable on the break to pace......liverpool defend deeper and play on the break more (though not totally) and this makes them m roe solid...its just an observation so don't get yourself worked up about an opinion.

Yes, but Liverpool have the best defence in 2018, and yet to concede a goal this season.

It seems you keep getting mixed up when posters say front three and team goals. If you then want it to be as simple as goals then check their front thrrr goals against ours. We scored more as a team and I’d rather it be that way with the goals spread about. You seen even in the documentary how muc their front three worries pep

Their front 3 got 8 more goals than ours (Sterling, Same, Aguero), but started 16 more games between them.

unfortunately Liverpool are a real threat...it is going take some stopping them...they are a very well balanced team....more so than us I would say...we attack better but defend worse; we have more possession but are more vulnerable defensively (especially down the left side)

However if they pick up injuries to either of their fullbacks, mane or Salah or VVD then they don't have the quality depth to cover....

Wait until the CL kicks in.

I love that the people who say our form last year doesnt matter assume Liverpool will maintain this form all season whereas we will automatically lose 25 points from last year with no chance of keeping our form

People buy to quickly into talksport and media designed to appeal to the unwashed scours masses and simultaneously forgetting just how good we are

Liverpool are gonna take some stopping this year not only do they have a great team they also have a lot of media and I'm sure a few at the fa that would like them to win it. Got to hope they struggle in the big games because from what I've seen so far the rest of the teams are beat before they go on the pitch.
