On this showing Chelsea have improved but that wouldn't be difficult after their shitshow last season. Liverpool look the same, they will be a threat but not the force of a few years ago.

Liverpool look like they’ll be dangerous up front as usual, shaky at the back, as has become usual. The big question is will they have a decent midfield. I don’t think we’ve seen much to worry about today.

Yes. His success was built on having a midfield that held his hand for him. Since that defensive shield has been removed, he's not looked anything like as accomplished.

Yep, used to play with three destroyers in midfield. Even Alexander-Arnold looked like a decent defender in that situation.
