Should be. Villa have had their chances against them but yes they're a very good side now. It will be interesting to see how the dippers and Chelsea shape up this season.

Had the rub of the green today, 2 very tight offside goals where we have not seen the lines and any slight touch on a Newcastle player is a free kick but allowed to go unpunished on a Villa player

After haaland isak is the best striker in the league and Newcastle have made great understated signings .

I never thought 45 million for Antony Gordon was a good buy but Isak and Wilson are a great 1-2 punch at number 9 for them.

The VAR reviews seem to be a lot slicker this season so far. Have they announced any changes? Not noticed it stopping the game like last season.

They’ve had an upgrade to the VAR centre that they describe as “A new state of the art VAR hub” at Stockley Park.

Not sure if that would have brought about any noticeable improvement to the end product already.
