Premier League Games 11/12/15 March '23

I really like the way Isak is playing, he is running down the channel and beating his man and involving his teammates. Haaland has to be doing more for the team to me
Haaland got a hatrick against Wolves at our place and he scored at theirs, so perhaps they didn't defend as deeply as some other teams?

That was a CLEAR and OBVIOUS penalty for Wolves and a red card for Pope.

Football is such a joke of a sport. How can it be getting things like that so wrong when it is a sport with a video referee?

I’ll repeat that, there’s a referee in a room who can watch things back and they’ve watched that and think it’s not a penalty and a red card and not a clear and obvious error/miss by the referee because he was so far away.

Rugby referees of both codes would be laughing their heads off at the use of VAR there.

My statement wasn't hypothetical though was it, it was fact. We had closed the gap so it was back in our own hands and burst their bubble in the process. They showed true grit and fight to win a difficult away game they were behind in twice. We fluffed our lines badly drawing with a piss poor Forest side after missing numerous chances and allowing them to score with their only shot on target. That opened the gap again. You could say they've wobbled, as in the Bournemouth game, but they showed remarkable fight again to turn that around. They also did the same against the rags and dippers. I'm hoping they slip up but the games are quickly running down.
Your statement was "we blew it". Utter nonsense with 11games to go.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag told Sky Sports: "Big compliments to the team. They showed big characer to play so long with 10. They were physically and mentally strong to get a point."
On whether Man Utd should have had a penalty: "Definitely. There's no doubt. I don't know why VAR didn't interupt."
On the red card: "Casemiro played over 500 games in Europe and never once got a red card. Now he has two in the Premier League.
"His absence is not the issue. We will deal with that. This game was influenced by the referee

He should have had a red card in the CL semi against City last season.

He was a liability for Madrid in that game. As soon as Camavinga came on for him, the whole game changed.

But if he had given a penalty and a red card VAR would have backed him up. Things have not improved with VAR apart from mainly getting offsides correct. For everything else it is still incompetent fools making the decisions.

Got to be an FA charge incoming for that.
