A little suspicious that a week ago they stuff 3rd place scum, then this week are losing to second from bottom Bournemouth - almost like they have “special preparations” for the big games

It's just like Liverpool of old. Raise game against the top teams, then play shite (normal) against the rest.

Well yeah. One thing I've noticed is that any team that wins 7, 8 or 9-0 often struggle in the next game. Notice that we never really win by that much (in the PL at least) because once we're 4-0 up, we're preparing for the next game. If City are 4-0 up at half time, you might as well not bother watching the second half.
