Pep was stupid in that he has got to be aware of the media in Britain, he was foolish to answer questions on his future full stop. Next the media worked out that he was coming to city by process of elimination. You are right if we Mess it up, the group is to blame not individuals.

Regardless of whether you get CL football next year or not you will challenge for the prem that is a given t may also give you an advantage next year.

While not a criticism of Pep just an observation the Barcelona and Bayern are both teams that are very dominant in their leagues with very little real competition. The premier league will have a lot more competition and while I don't doubt he will bring success to city it won't be as plain sailing as La Liga or the Bundesliga.

The only reason Pelle stayed another season was the clubs obsession with getting Pep. Yes they have managed to get him but how much damage has been done by basically wasting another season?

We won a cup but the overall quality of football has deceased yet again, playing some of the worst football in years and with no effort from players or manager to at least make it seem like they care. If not for the league being so unpredictable and most of the "top" teams playing shit we would probably be outside the top 4 already.

Game versus Arsenal will be pretty huge as it could affect our future transfer targets, with Pep presumably only being here 3 years we can't afford to waste more time fannying about with average signings.
