Oh, I agree it's a penalty, was just saying that 'keepers can attempt to make a save (lets say one of those starfish dives) as an attacker chips it over him from close proximity, clatter the into the forward, and (even if the shot goes wide) more often than not it's NOT a penalty.

Just saying, that's all.

PS - NOT a red card as he made an attempt to play the ball, only a red for a foul that's in no way an attempt to play the ball

Dangerous play is a red card regardless of where it is on the pitch, the triple jeopardy rule doesn't come into play. If Sanchez had been between Lacazette and the goal that might not have been a penalty (although he'd try to block differently), he lunged in from the side/ behind. If a keeper flattened a player goalside of them?

Yep. Awful first half of the season but look a good side now. Of course not our level but they’re making progress.

Basically since mid December when Smith-Rowe came into the side and they had a number 10, they are around 4th or 5th on points.

I think they need to buy a couple of players but they should be fighting for top 4 next year.
