Barcodes hit great form at the right time. their front three is on hot form, fucking Murphy scoring-assisting almost every game lat few months.. but Barnes chipping in too and Isak in centre delivering too. must be nice to see end product from your wingers regularly. we may see one of ours do one goal or assist for rest of the season lol.

Looks like they might be putting all their eggs in the semi final basket. Not sure their bank manager will be happy. Isn't it something like 2m difference in prize money per position in the league? If Palace drop a few places, they'll lose more than winning the FA Cup would earn them.

Newcastle have a very tough fixture list. I expect them to drop points. If they can get through it then fair play to them, but if they do it's not neccesarily bad for us. They've got villa and chelsea so of they're besting those sides to finish above us, it makes it easier for us to ensure we are ahead of villa and chelsea.

Said for a few weeks, forest could do a leciester and bottle it at the final hurdle

There was a game earlier in the season, Arsenal at home actually. The ball was crossed into the centre of the box at the first time of asking, and Isak headed it in. We won 1-0.

I had been saying for a long time that you don’t get wingers who cross the ball or properly run at defenders anymore. That goal showed what crossing the ball into the box can do instead of tapping it around the edge of the box, waiting for an overlap from a WB, where either one of them will look to cut inside.
If you look at Barnes goal involvements in our last 2 games, he’s much more direct with his run. The cut inside happens during his run, like he’s at the LCM position. This enables him a shot at goal by the time he gets near it.
Defenders these days can’t defend crosses or a player running directly at them heading towards goal because they are all used to the ball being played in front of them.

Honestly C. Ronaldo has a lot to answer for, since he came on the scene every winger wants to run and cut inside and they generally have no end product to justify doing so.
