Premier League Games 12/13/15 Feb '22

When nothing is working for you, you can always hope for an idiot to gift you a penalty. Who fails to redeem himself two minutes later...

Leicester's setup could have been tricky on paper. But during first half WH had handled things in an organized and composed manner. They had control and the game in their hands until Cresswell's brain fart. They could have been bolder with the ball perhaps but I guess they were waiting for the right moment...

I lose 15 minutes, I come back and it's 2-1. Just when I was preparing a post, basically saying that the challenge for them now was to not lose their heads. That Moyes had to understand that Rodgers needed the win desperately, the home team was under serious pressure. And that If WH maintained their shape, if they didn't get physically bullied, if they remained focused, counter attacking opportunities were bound to occur. Then the question would be whether they'd get the best out of them or not...

But with 2-1 and WH chasing, the circumstances are different. Leicester will find spaces to comfortably circulate the ball while a frustrated WH, unable to figure out how the fuck they went behind, will force things, not always making the correct decisions...

Moyes will gamble by mutually interchanging Sousec with Lanzini for a while, before introducing Benrahama and Vlasic for the final 10'. It felt too little too late, the former should had definitely come in earlier, Fornals had a poor game anyway...

But Leicester themselves were never convincing. The match turned ideally for them, yet failed to kill it. With Dawson and Sousec operating as strikers in the end, Rodgers put another central defender to secure the win, only to be punished in the dying moments of the match by limited yet heroic Dawson, following a corner. Seemed controversial, but it stood...

Saving a point in the end is always good psychologically, but WH have wasted a golden opportunity here to get all 3 -and apply more pressure to Arsenal and United in the fight for a CL spot. A decent performance overall, let down by ridiculous individual errors. As for Leicester, Rodgers was exposed once again, absolutely no excuse for this. His team didn't deserve to have the lead, somehow he did, only to literally fuck up in terms of game management. A decent manager, certainly above average, but was never great -and never will be...

This should be an easy 3 points for Man Yoo but given their current form, I wouldn’t be surprised if Brighton get something out of this game.
Brighton being awful in front of goal will cost them, already missed a good chance according to bbc but BBC saying their fans singing your city is blue lol

Early signs are this has the hallmarks of a typical rag win, opposition playing far better and dominating possession but missing good chances... queue united scoring with their first and only shot on target.
