I think what we get to see is done by the TV stations. We don’t get to see what VAR are doing.

Where was the line for the second “goal”? Looked well offside, no line and lots of manipulation of the wrong frame. Now that var has done its work Leicester are going to concede 6

This is like VAR amateur hour. What the actual fuck, trying to stop at the right frame manually. Fuck me is that how VAR works?

Alas, it is how it works.

Hence why many of us have said it is very easily manipulated.

And that’s not even getting in to the technical drawbacks of the camera system (i.e. the video doesn’t actually always accurately capture the frame that would ideally be used to determine offside).

The latter issue is why semi-automated offside is also going to be problematic.
