Going down might actually do them some good financially.

Their wage bill is currently 75% if their revenue. It’s the second worst in the league. They also owe money (I don’t know who to though) that was supposed to be imminently required to pay back in about November (I don’t know of they paid it though).

They’ll get get rid of all their top earners, they’ll get some parachute money and if they could end up in the Play-off Final they’d be quids in.
