Typical City, but it just shows how easy it was to score (and concede) back in the 30’s and earlier.

You cannot imagine these days that
the highest scorers can get relegated (though united seem to have the opposite- lowest scorers still getting top4)

While Dixie Dean’s record is very good, it has to be balanced against the backdrop of the football style of play (and iirc rules) back then, compared with the demolition of all recent individual scoring records by Haaland. It is more than ‘very good’ it is unprecedented.
