To be fair, Peter Osgood, Charlie Cooke and Bobby Tambling could probably do a job for them. Even now.

They also had Graham Roberts, Kevin Wilson, Gordon Dury, we did well that 88-89 season to keep up with them until they pulled away in the last month.
