If the rumours are true then Hughes was the one leaking things from the club / dressing room to the press to curry favour with them to protect himself.
I don't remember the likes of Frizzell, Benson, Clark, Coppell etc doing that.

Yep. Other clubs have been taken by surprise by them(Oo-err!) this season. Next season could be a difficult one for them, moreso if they don't buy wisely in the summer. That squad is pretty lightweight.

Think Southampton got royally shafted there by Dean. First half, especially. Every slight touch on a Chelsea player resulted in a free-kick
and Chelsea were able to clean out Southampton players, with impunity.

We came out sleepwalking in the second half against the Scum, probably thought we had done enough.

And also Hughes was a Leg End at Trafford FC which is another reason to dislike him !
