That was actually a bit of a disappointment. If you boys had managed to beat Man United at home, we would have been able say that we had beat the Champions of England in the Quarter Finals of the CL. That would have been a real scalp. As it happened, we only beat the Champions Elect. Still cool, of course, but we’d already done that two other times this season and the novelty has worn off a bit ;)

Yup, the only one. It’s pathetic, I know, but we’ve never known this sort of wild success before. And beating the famous Manchester City is something we’ve dreamed of for so very long but never thought possible, so I’m sure you can understand why we’re so excited about it.

I’m an old man. Can’t believe it’s 13 years - I don’t know how old you are but the craziest thing about ageing is how much more quickly time flies as you get on. Feels like it was yesterday.

Not printed the shirt and wouldn’t dare. Roma will think they have their name on the Cup and with good reason after defeating Barca. They are a good team.

Anyways, good luck to you. Cracking team you’ve had this season and deserving Champions.

Can't wait for the documentary and the candle light vigils to commemorate the moment. Throughout history scholars will ask the question "Where were you when Liverpool beat Manchester City" and people will tell stories of where they were when it happened.
