I get that he wants to do the feints and all but he can do that without running the way he does. You’re right about how he looks.

Mendy has put in enough great crosses since the restart to have half a dozen assists to his name, we simply don’t play that way and don’t get bodies into the box to get on the end of them. Comparing the two when we don’t play alike is very odd and is always going to look less than favourable on our fullbacks.
Mendy is the only full back we have who is fit for purpose and even he has a way to go to get back to his best. If we had decent full backs who could support attacks, we would be a much better side.
