Butland had caught the ball in two hands and was knocked out of them by the collision with Maupay.
It was never going to be a goal.

no, you wouldn't. You'd be furious at VAR for not ruling it out. If you collide with the keeper, he hasn't dropped it. He can only drop it with no contact, otherwise it's a foul. Simple as.The keeper is allowed to drop it though, which he did.
