Southampton have been poor recently. Is it loss of form or injuries or something? I've not been following them closely. They somehow defend brilliantly against us, it's probably too much to expect tonight isn't it?

I wasn’t holding out any hope at all but the more I think about it, with no Fabinho and potentially no VVD or Salah, with 120 minutes of gruelling football in the legs of most just a few days ago, with Saints fully rested for 10 days, with it being their final home game of the season, bearing all that in mind …the ref will pick up the pieces for them.Does anyone believe Southampton can get a result today?

He's saving that for Sunday, along with a couple of his team mates. EFC will fancy themselves for a draw then! Chances of a Liverpool win are at 80%.
Nobody ever gives us anything we have to take it all.
That said that leaves a 1 in 5 chance Liverpool drop points and it will be a pressure game for the so called mentality monsters.
Ill be tuning in expecting them to win and anything else being a brilliant surprise.

Southampton will never have a better chance IMHO. The dippers played 120 minutes just three days ago, no Salah, no VVD, no Fabinho and even Robertson a doubt. They're safe from relegation, so no nerves on their side.
The only problem I see is that they're a bit crap unless they play us.

They played really well against us back in January and looked good on the counter. Sounds like they haven’t done much of that recently, oh well one last game in front of their home crowd and no pressure on them. Football can turn up strange events.

There's talk of Klopp making up to 8 or 9 changes tonight. I can't see that to be honest - probably 4 or 5 tops including Salah and Van Dijk if they are indeed not fit to play. They're well stocked in the striker department so Salah won't really be a miss.Southampton will never have a better chance IMHO.
