Maddison keeps improving year on year, excellent player and bigger things for him I think....

I’m not an avid England supporter, and there is a lot of repetition over the years about ‘golden generations’, however, there won’t be many better, internationally, in terms of player options over the next few years... the English academies which have been 10-15 years in the making, are really starting to churn out quality across the board.... best thing is, we have the biggest gem of the lot!

They did have a Cowshed once behind the goals.

That was the Scratching Shed, opposite what used to be the open end when I first went there. (mid 60s) They used to have 2 or 3 guys dressed in butchers' coats orchestrating the chanting iirc.

The Cowshed was at 'udders feeled. (appropriately)

I don't think Maddison will ever do much for England. Foden is better, Grealish is better, Mount has a defensive work rate he lacks, Ward-Prowse offers better set pieces in a more box-to-box player. England have great wing options in Sterling, Sancho, Rashford, Saka etc. so they aren't going to shunt Grealish or Foden to the wings to accommodate Maddison.

He's a good player but don't think he'll reach that level.

Weirdly, it looks like after years of excellent defenders and no creativity we’re going to end up with loads of attacking options and very little in net or in defence.

They’ll fall off a cliff now. Their second half of the season is typically dire.
he keeps a small rotation and runs them in to the ground.

Not too sure, he’s one of those players who I think hasn’t hit his ceiling, only 25 and playing at an incredibly consistent level..

He isn’t Foden, granted, who has all the tools to be the first bonafide world class player England has in the ranks since Scholes.. he’s looking more and more like a young Gazza, who with the right people around him, would of been England’s best ever, imo!
