don't know how people can make jokes about another human being's life, they have a family , maybe kids . its not funny

The joke made wasn’t in any way about the fan unfortunately taken ill, of course. Personally I don’t feel there are any circumstances that dictate humour should be set aside so long as the joke itself isn’t intended to be nasty and hateful, which this one clearly wasn’t.
