Premier League Games 16/17/18 Sept '22

I was thinking that…

Don’t really want to watch the shithousery of A.Madrid and I’ve seen enough of PSG this season to know that their front 3 right now are on form, most notably Neymar, who seems to have raised his game. Also, the Italian league has been exciting for the past two seasons for me. Ended up picking the Milan match myself.

I have the Nantes game on in the background but not a great match but I’ll use this time to cook.
I have just bumped into a young American couple in a pub near the Brentford ground, they have been around this last week.
Villa v Soton , Dippers v Ajax , City v Dortmund and Wolves v City. They both detest United.!!

Good enough for me.

Not sure what to watch later…what would be your pick blues?

Lyon vs PSG -7:45pm
Milan vs Napoli - 7:45pm
A.Mardid vs R.Madrid - 8pm

On the Everton v West Ham, think I’ll avoid watching their games at all this season. Saying that, thought Iwobi in the middle played really well for Everton.
Milan v Napoli for me. Got that one lined up, should be a belter.

Indeed. Hoping so. Didn’t watch Arsenal. Everton match was gash. Watched Villareal vs Sevilla which wasn’t too bad but hoping for a good match in the Milan game.

Did Arsenal play last Thursday in the Europa can’t remember, if they didn’t there win today didn’t surprise me tbh.

"Player of the game" now, is it? I'll have to remember that when I'm doing the post match opinion poll thread after the game against Trafford's finest. Piss some posters off again!
Stick with MOTM Jimmi, when we revert back to a normal society you’ll be seen as one of the founding Fathers of the non woke brigade.

No. Supposed to play PSV but the police didn't want to deal with 3,000 Dutch fans.
City were due to play Arsenal after the game v the rags in midweek. That's now cancelled so they can play PSV

Sorry didn’t use any comma’s, basically I’m asking if Arsenal played in Europe last Thursday, and because they didn’t I’m not surprised they won today against Brentford because they would of been well rested.
But Brentford didn't play either midweek so they too would be well rested.....and Brentford beat the only team to beat Arsenal ;)

The anti-Merseyside stuff on these threads is way over the top. Whatever about the LFC cult, most of us on this forum have a huge amount in common with the ordinary people of Liverpool - which, like Manchester, is a friendly city, full of wit and creativity. To denigrate a whole city and its people on account of the behaviour of a few football fans is infantile.
Personally I denigrate the whole city based on the ones I have met
