That's a bit harsh on Maupay. Yes, he fouled the keeper. But I agree with Ferdinand. It was a nothing challenge, really. Just unfortunate that Leno landed awkwardly and (seemingly) twisted his knee. The reactions of the Arsenal players (Guendouzi in particular) was embarrassing. As funny as the result is, Maupay's a cúnt.
As is Guendouzi, one of the most overrated players in the league.
Neal Maupay - 'The Arsenal players need to learn humility and they got what they deserved'.
I thought that needed an edit.Arsenal seem to be destined to end up being what Everton were 5 years ago. Perennial 5/6th place finishes. Never in the CL, never winning anything.
It's actually as funny as fuck how quickly 20 years worth of very good work has been undermined.

It's actually pretty sad how quickly 20 years worth of very good work has been undermined.

Echoes of Deeney's "cojones" comment from 2017Neal Maupay - 'The Arsenal players need to learn humility and they got what they deserved'.

Ironically started around the time they signed Arteta from Everton...

You can't brush it off as "he didn't really hit him that hard", the man was jumping and he purposely knocked him off balance. The resultant landing and injury is why you don't do that to people, no matter the odds.
He knew exactly what he was doing, shithousery.
And it's shithousery.Players intentionally "leave one on" the opposition, or push them in the air when they jump for a ball 100x a game.
I guarantee if you watched the game back, you'd see every time Maupay jumped for a ball at a corner, goal kick or long ball, the defender marking him gave him a shove to put him off balance.
