I agree. But surely the point is, a club that spends so much money should NOT be bang average.

We see this with Man Utd too. Throw shit loads of cash around without a plan on the team or management long term.

I just don't see you can spend close to a billion, go through 4 managers in less than a year or two, still have a close to 40 year old at centre back, without a striker who can bag 20 goals a season and zero chemistry within the team.

Poch has his work cut out, but I think by November we'll get an idea how good or shite they really are

Yes exactly, he's still got players coming through the door. They looked good against Liverpool and dominated most of today's game. They'll be up there.

Izzy Christianson puts most of the so-called pundits to shame becauseshe is isn't braindead and just trot out their usual shite.

Why not? Two great results, still looking strong in spite of losing key players and they have a very good manager. Remember Leicester? A long shot but you never know.
