I suppose Sheffield to Nottingham isn’t too far and, whilst I love Friday night football on TV, I think Sunday 3pm would’ve been more appropriate.

Only about an hour on the train from Sheff isn’t it iirc?
Not bad for a Friday night choice I guess.

It is ironically televised in the USA, on the USA Network (NBC affiliate).

I quite enjoy a Friday 2:45pm EPL match with a proper first pint of the weekend!

Seems its not the potential trouble per se, they insist its purely down to traffic issues!!! Sounds lame to me but that is their excuse!

Plod in Nottingham probably have a rough job with all the drug gangs, having said that I recall a game we had at Notts County getting pushed back to Sunday for the Nottingham Goose Fair!
