I think defenders have really cottoned on to Salah and the way to defend him is to hold a higher line and force the contact to be outside the box.

The initial thought it to drop back because his pace is scary, but it doesn't matter if he gets past you if it's in the wide channels.

And just as I write that, Everton drop deep and he nearly scores.
