Premier League Games 2/3/4/5/6/ May '24

I will have it, I've said I accept there are alternative opinions. That's absolutely fine. I'd be pissed if it was awarded against us, but the ref was never overturning it once awarded.
Is that how you want to win the league by cheating? I guess so already using Brentford’s goal keeper

These twats along with rags and binners are always, always given a penalty in close games. Unless blatantly obvious, we only get a penalty when we’re already at least 2 or 3 up. Then pgmol will point purely to stats saying we’ve had penalties, but what they fail to show is that ours are rarely match defining ones, unlike the red shirts who are given help to win.

I haven’t been watching, only just saw the replay via halftime coverage on USA.

I am quite disappointed in Robbie Earle, who I usually think does a decent job of talking sense, commenting on the penalty saying he thought it was one and stating that “it shows the maturity of Arsenal this season, as last season Havertz may have tried to round the keeper and stayed on his feet and not gotten the goal”, before rounding it off with “but if I am a striker, and the keeper comes out, I am going to drag my feet and get the penalty”.

I may be misremembering, but I feel like he has said the exact opposite in the past, practically denouncing strikers being dishonest by trying to “buy” penalties.

Can only think the producers have finally taken complete control and begun to feed them their talking points as they have been on BBC and Sky Sports for many years now. Up until now it seemed like they were allowed to speak their mind, even when it went against the prevailing narrative in the UK.

Not so much any more, I guess.

Sad to see.

The problem is the keeper didn’t “catch” his leg. Cheat havertz dragged it, left it there and dived. Unbelievable. Worse than anyone eyed rag I ever had the misfortune of engaging.

Are you that deluded dwarf Ty in disguise?
Ok well perhaps it wasn't a pen. But no mention of the fact Ryan Christie could have had a straight red to the foul on Saka.

It all evens out.

I just saw a replay of the tackle on Saka in the first half.
Not surprised the ref gave a late penalty after seeing that.
He's clearly fucking blind.
