I reckon "play" is a strong word for what the league will allow in those matches.Dont we play spurs twice before then?

I would have delayed making that comment until after the match on Thursday...I've become pretty confident of us retaining our PL title watching this. I'd even go as far as saying we'll be top when we go to the Emirates in 6 weeks time.
It would to a big shift in form for both sides for that to happen.I've become pretty confident of us retaining our PL title watching this. I'd even go as far as saying we'll be top when we go to the Emirates in 6 weeks time.
pace was always our strength……We have the players to rip teams apart, but not when you play the game at a snails pace.
We didn't play well or intelligently enough, but I don't see how people don't see this. Everton kep stopping play from minute 1, and madley enabled it, he was edging towards giving us enough cards to make one a red too.We were terrible, I have said as much. But a lot of that was down to Everton and Madley ensuring we could build no rhythm or momentum.
Everyone shouting we needed more energy and drive, but during what time could we have done that?
They were stopping play every seventh pass.
When we had just started to turn the screw, they made us stand around for 6 bloody minutes.
Or have play stopped every seventh pass or for 6 full minutes right when you start attacking with more thrust. We have the players to rip teams apart, but not when you play the game at a snails pace.
