The truth is that they’re not really shite. They have some quality players and a squad that cost a hell of a lot of money. If they had a decent manager, and no bad smell hanging around, they might just be able to legitimately challenge for the title.

Until they sort out the elephant in the room they will have to continue to rely on the PL to pull them up to a position that they require/demand.

Goal difference will only come into play if we are level on points. We are currently level on points but obviously have two games more to play, so for it to have any bearing we would need to lose our two games in hand... not winning them.
