I appreciate the spirit, but when was the last time we really pasted a good side? Real Madrid last season? I don’t think next week we suddenly come out guns blazing and change the stripes we’ve displayed most of this year though maybe Luton away was the catalyst, or maybe a healthy KDB-Haaland combo is. If I’m hoping, I’ll hope for a win, but I would be all right with a scrappy draw at Anfield and hope that the form we saw today catches up with them. It usually does. And we still need to win tomorrow. There I’m confident.
