Amazing how Arsenal is praised for “blocking off the keeper” when yet their fans howled in pain when Silva nudged a keeper then moved ten feet away.

Media bias is rife when it comes to the more than noisy neighbor and has been for many a year now especially since the current owners took over.

You can already see the headlines if we have all charges dismissed or should would get some points penalty or worse come early next year , it will be the injustice of the power of the high and mighty or it was more than deserved.

Would be a completely different narrative if it was Arsenal , Manure or Liverpool that was in our position.

Either way I don't care as long as we do all our talking and walking on match days.

St James Park so fucking quiet

There’s a few strange things that happen in English football that I can never understand.

English fans are quieter for 12.30 kick offs than for 15.00 kick offs even though it’s only 180 minutes earlier in the day. Bizzare phenomenon!

English fans turn up to games late, leave for half time early, turn up for the second half late and the worst of all leave games early even when the game’s in the balance. Bizzare phenomenon!

Yet English fans do watch the game and aren’t doing some daft kids party games like Young Boys’ fans did at our place last season (the only thing they missed off the list was Pass the Parcel) and when we really get ‘at it’ with the atmosphere, when we live+breathe every kick and create a proper atmosphere, nowhere sounds better than a proper traditional English atmosphere.

And Newcastle are one of the best when they get going at St James’ Park, they’ve got a great stadium for it… when they beat Arsenal a couple of years ago to cement their CL place, the atmosphere was incredible.
