Slowly but surely the myth of De Zerbi is being exposed.

‘Big Sam’ could come in and do a job at Brighton with the setup and infrastructure they have there.
This is bollocks. I think de Zerbi has some substantial weaknesses but he's still a very good young manager that could become a great one.

They massively overachieved last season and then sold their best players this summer once more for about the 5th season in a row. When you go through their squad, it's midtable at best, their defensive options in particular are atrocious. the likes of west ham have a better squad of individuals but their manager is getting more out of them.

They've also got European football to contend with for the very first time and their squad which is battered with injuries is paying the price.

Hes lost his two first choice centre midfielders in the summer and a shit load of injuries to key players.

Plus poch has had all week with his sqaud while Brighton only got back Friday morning with a much smaller sqaud
