Aye. Losing to Southampton at home especially was criminal for a title chasing side.

To be honest, they were riding their luck in plenty of games after the World Cup. A few last minute winners and at the time I was thinking that was the sign of champions. Obviously now it was a sign of them not having what it takes to win the league. That Anfield game was the killer blow for them. They were battering them and should have killed the game off. Ended up lucky to come away with a point and most were saying it was a good point too which was bullshit. That planted the seed in their head for the rest of the run in.
