Premier League Games 20/21/22/25 May '23

Looking at that dubious Chelsea line up, I'd say this is Lampard sticking two fingers up to Klopp after their little handbags on the touchline a couple of seasons ago.
 
Has anybody noticed how the Beeb always use that photo of their ugly sign announcing the name of their club and that statue of three players (genuinely don't know who they are, and don't care) in front of it as a way of subconsciously ‘monumentalising’ that bloody club for anybody who looks on the site. It's a bit like the way they always choose the Anfield gates with YNWA in wrought iron on top of it — I find that irritating too but not quite so much. Both serve the same purpose, though — to emphasise subliminally that these are the ‘establishment’ clubs in the eyes of the media, they alway have been and they always will be, world without end.
