So? We will drop points, Newcastle will take points from a lot of teams, liverpool are our biggest threat still this season so the bigger the gap now the better for us.

That's what I said regarding Liverpool. I just can't get onboard with the "We'll thrash every team" mantra. We won't and Sunday proved that.

Arsenal and Spurs are improving sides, but they were 20-25 points off the title race last year. They were closer to the likes of Brentford and Palace than they were to us and Liverpool.

I think people are forgetting how hard it is to get 95 points in the Premier League because Pep and Klopp have made it seem normal.

And to do it up against the best side the country has ever seen, going for their 5th title in 6 years...they have no idea.

Can’t rule anything out in football. Chelsea finished 10th in 2015/16 on just 50 points, only 13 points above relegation. They won the league the next season with 93 points, a 43 point swing. When it clicks and you get a good start, anything can happen.
