I know this gets so, so, so, so, so, so old saying it, but the quality of refereeing in “the biggest league in the world” is the equivalent of the dump my dog took this morning. What the actual fuck is wrong here? The bottom line is the game is now too fast for one official and two lines people. They cannot keep up, so they just guess and make stuff up increasing based on crowd noise or play-acting. It’s absolutely maddening.

Just switched the TV over to Sky.

By now I’m used to some of the cretins employed by Sky as analysts but they have reached a new low expecting Sturridge to make intelligent comments about the situation at Chelsea. The guy is seriously stupid and had to be baled out by Micah (not exactly a Rhodes Scholar himself).

I know there’s a lot of competition on Sky for the stupidest analyst, with Redknapp, Cole and Floyd Hasselbank as strong contenders but surely Sturridge must be a front runner.
