Pathetic today by Palace

Yeah I don't think Roy will last long. With all due respect to him, he's really looking and sound like a proper old man. Time for permanent retirement I think.

Townsend; "If this was man city they'd have got 4 or 5 by now."

He does realise if we were playing palace we'd only be a goal up as VAR would have ruled out 2 of them.
Difference is they had 2 on target v us and 2 goals, 4 on target today but of course not clinical as per against us, as usual for opponents playing us and then our competition but we have only got ourselves to blame for throwing away 2 points v them. And with Attwell on Var, you know he is under orders

I didn't expect Palace to get anything today, let's hope Bournemouth can get a result tomorrow.

Graham Potter will be a good option for Palace. Plenty of good players to work with.
As for the Gooners I get the feeling around the stadium that while they’re happy today they know deep down they’re just not at the level of City and Dippers.

Palace are one of those clubs that pose the question .. what is the point?

Never challenge for any cups or for Europe, never in a relegation battle, totally uninteresting and pointless. Just filler for the league

Id prefer to support a worse team that gets relegated now and again but still fights for promotion, gets into playoffs etc and gets up sometimes rather than just finish 13th or so with nothing to play for or nothing to fight for over and over.

They just don't have that much talent IMO.

I still can't believe we blew a 2-0 lead versus them at home and after the 70th minute.
