Premier League Games 21/22/23 Jan '23

…when Arsenal regain their lead at the top? Doesn’t have the same ring to it.

I never want the rags to get anything other than beaten, regardless of the opposition or situation.

Arsenal know we're still waiting for them to slip. It's up to us to concentrate on our game and keep winning.

Not worried. And frankly embarrassed to see some of the comments in here. We've been in this situation multiple times already. We were 8 points behind United, f***ing Fergie's United, with six games left and we still won the league. We've beaten one of, if not the best Liverpool sides the country has seen four of the last five seasons. We've broken record after record, have the best manager in the world, and have a culture of success forged through hardship and moments like this. Our squad has done it over and over and over again.

It's ARSENAL. And there's literally an entire half a season to play. Newcastle can take points off them. Chelsea can take points off them. Liverpool can take points off them. F***ing Villa can take points off them. Oh and there's the little fact that they have to play us twice and we've literally beaten them in EVERY single league game home and away since 2017.

Jesus Christ.
Saying “it’s Arsenal” doesn’t actually mean anything though does it? This isn’t the same Arsenal that you’re referring to. And nor are we the same City.

They remind me of ourselves a few years ago. Fast, fluid and full of energy and desire. I fear we've left ourselves too much to do this season with some of our poor results. Arsenal don't have to go for the win in both our games as draws keep the gap there if they keep winning. To be honest ourselves aside I'm not sure they have many tough games on paper left.
They will most probably slip up and lose a few games, but right now they look determined to win the title. We cannot afford any more defeats or even draws, whoever we play.

Long way to go. We are more than capable of putting a run together. If Arsenal win from here then good luck to their team.

And having won the league so often lately whilst it will be disappointing to miss out it won’t hurt as much as if it was Liverpool or utd.

They are the real deal. No question. One loss, two draws. Impressive.
Everything to play for, and if any team can do it, we can. Next Friday, albeit a cup match, will give a good idea of the temperature. It'll be a cracking one. Wish I could be there.
