Someone said on here yesterday that when we have the ball our opponents take a rest, which is a pretty good assessment. When the Dippers have the ball (and Arsenal too) there’s definitely no rest for the opposition. They play like we used to. We have become so slow and predictable.

Were you saying that when he was scoring for fun???
All forwards have a bad spell..it doesn't help we don't play to his strengths with our slow slow build up..give him service and he will score.. hopefully starting on Thursday

cant belive Salah. did he ever had better individual season before?
this is Ballon Dor level of season for him so far.

15 goals, 10 assist in 17 rounds of PL this season. and some more in cups and CL.
if he now slows down to 50% of this output he still have a season of about 21-23 goals and 15 assists. PL only if he doesnt slow down then its 30 goals, 20 assists more or less close to 50 goal contribution, sick at this age especially)

(then I think at our wingers struggle to score/assist one goal for months.)

He is one of the best in the world, about time we find some wingers, who can score

If they lost their best player - that player being the best in the world - and had the injuries we had, plus playing those clearly not match fit, then they would be struggling too.

At his age an injury could stop him.
As much as it pains me to say it he’s an outstanding player.
