And players won't stay fit if he keeps rushing them back and not give them any rest.Pep won't change his style.
He didn't in his first season and he then won everything playing that way.
He'll continue with it and hopefully some new players and players staying fit, will allow us to be better.
And another thing that people forget is that it takes players a season to fit into a Pep team. Any January signings aren't suddenly going to catapult us up the table.I dont think it is. It is notoriously difficult to make effective signings in the January window. They are never value for money and often panic buys, and not being overly negative but there wont be players falling over themselves to come here in the present uncertainty and confidence vacuum we are in. The season is a write off. We need to ride it out and rebuild more sensibly than a January splurge
Be honest if we were in the dippers position in this game at 5-2 up you’d be shitting yourself right now : )
It’s because these days we have possession but only play horizontally. Passing sideways, in front of the opposition won’t tire any fucker out. We used to move it horizontally and vertically and that’s why teams were always fucked after 60 mins against us.Kulusevski said as much after the Spurs game. Goes against the old adage of it's more tiring out of possession as you say. We have zero pace.
