It's not excessive force and a word with both sorts it out.

Should have been a talking to, and a word with the manager about it. If he did that by half time it is forgotten about and Everton carry on, now though it will be a huge news story and disrupt Everton’s dressing room.

To be fair that was the sort of contact that usually has an opposition player writhing around on the floor holding their face. That Keane must be made of strong stuff
