Premier League Games 23/24/25 April '22

Cheers fellas. To be honest it may be nice to be removed from the most corrupt league in the world.

Yes we havent helped ourselves this season but to suggest we would turn up there and play open football is ridiculous. The tactic we played works against them. Unfortunately when the Ref and VAR are so incompetent/corrupt or both then what can you do.

Not really sure why you've tagged me, to be honest. Nothing against Everton as a club, no pleasure in seeing them where they are but I was simply stating that the current team is absolutely shite and I'm sure you can agree with that part.

To all the people on a downer because Liverpool won.
Just think of this, they believe they have the best players, they believe they have the best manager, they believe they have the best team, they believe they are the chosen ones with the best fans.......and yet, they are going to finish the season in 2nd place, again.
Drink it in boys and girls, we are the champions & we're going to remain so
I wish I was brave enough to post that

I went to the golf club for a little practice while SWMBO watched the game (she’s afflicted) and I was surprised when I got back and it was still 0-0 but I’d already phsyced myself up for them winning

SWMBO gave me daggers when I pissed myself laughing after spitty said “where do you want your statue Origi?” Fucking hilarious

I seriously didn’t get what Souness was getting at regarding the penalty incident in the first half and the one in the 2nd ????
If he went down in the 1st ( Easily ) what should that have to do with anything regarding the 2nd when we have VAR the clear it up ??? Honestly I seriously hope you win the major big prizes and Chelsea do them in the final they are nothing but a bunch of stuck up arrogant pricks
I saw that too. Jota should have gone. Mane should have gone. Two penalties on Gordon. No var review of anything. The corruption is not even hidden.

If Everton go down it'll be a bit of history. They're the longest standing club continuously in the top flight — First Division and PL — after Arsenal. And as Michael Caine might say, “Not many people…”
Not at all sure that Frank's manager material really. A lot of formerly great players aren't.
Everton do have a long history in the top flight, and from a selfish point of view, it would be nice for this to be reset. I knew a few Everton fans who were very bitter towards us after our takeover.

But these two things are minor annoyances in the overall scheme of things. Everton are a good club, with a rich history, and few blemishes as a club. They live in the shadow of more successful neighbours (I refuse to use the word illustrious), and have suffered unfairly as a result.

To this day, Liverpool fans taunt them for losing out on European football, which came about due to Liverpool's murderous fans. Even their own local newspaper barely acknowledge them.

We have a lot in common with Everton. They are where we have been, and we hated it. And because of this, I have no ill will towards them. They have my sympathies, and I hope they survive this season, and build again so that they can eventually challenge and overcome Liverpool.
