Precisely, whatever the fuck the law is (because honestly who the fuck knows), it's against the spirit of the handball law.

It's supposed to be a punishment for people who deliberately handle, or position themselves in such a way that they are likely to handle, the ball. What is he supposed to do from a metre away when the ball is pummelled at him? It's a joke and totally arbitrary.
