It's very difficult playing nice football and having success doing unless you have genuine quality mixed in with it. You can train most teams to knock the ball about well but there has to be something after that.

The problem with Burnley is most of the teams they're up against have better individuals, so in some cases the best tactic is to make life difficult for the opposition, not give them a nice game of football.

And that's why they can't get a win at the moment, because they don't really know how to do that and its going to be a problem.

When a team is looking to survive in the league, there's a reason they bring people like Dyche and Fat Sam.

It's alright being good on the eye but essentially you're giving teams full of better individual players the kind of game they'd prefer
 
I think Burnley will surprice ppl the further on the season goes. They met very stable PL teams so far... teams that usually are among top of PL. Dont judge them to early, they will get better and better but they need to start winning against the teams that they really fight against like, Luton, Sheff U, Everton Bournemouth... not how well they do against City, Spurs, United
 
Seriously, how can they still sing that “we are the champions of Europe” song with straight faces?! Sad bastards
