Possession for possession’s sake for Chelsea. No creativity at all
Newcastle aren't falling for the trap of being lured out by quick passing which is key to Sarri sides. It's like what Conte tried against us at the Etihad last season.
They’ve built everything around him. Kante is wasted on the side but they’re sticking with making this Jorginhos team
It'll work out in the end I reckon. I actually think Kanté will become something of a problem player for them though as a consequence of prioritising Jorginho over him.
They’re completely lost without Shelvey. He can spray the ball around and allow them to produce some threat at least
If we're at home and play anywhere near the level we should he won't make a difference, like the previous times he hasn't made a difference.

I agree on both counts. Just saying Shelvey makes them a threat to maybe nick one and play this otherwise shit regressive football and steal points from anyone. Without him it’s just extra dire

Newcastle actually offer less going forward than we did under Pearce. Truly awful and how they still turn up, for their team to then stink the place out, is beyond sane explanation.

Absolutely, they did that last year, but hopefully it wouldn't be enough.
