Dorgu should have been sent off for repeated diving and feigning injury. Cuhna lucky to stay on as well. The refs are allowing these cunts to ruin the game. I hate it and would hate it if our players did it. The only one I recall for us is Cancelo.

Like i said, didnt watch any of it so have no opinion on any incident tonight, i'll take your word on it but i will say the refs are just poor whoever they're officiating, there isnt some mass conspiracy to get United up the table. United are shit, but unfortunately there are 12-15 teams worse than them at present.

Murphy is terrible. Newcastle can’t progress with Championship level players like him.

The cheating and diving is everywhere and the worst culprits are Arsenal. It’s not a conspiracy. Most teams are doing it now. The refs are terrible here. In the CL most refs just ignore the divers and play on.

They have been pretty horrible since 2013, but worth remembering that have been top-3 four out of the six seasons prior to 2023-24.
Still very miserable returns given their extravagant transfer and wage spend, but they should realistically be challenging for at least top-4.

Howe won't be at Newcastle come next season.

He is a good coach Howe, but Europa League level at best for me.

He has really struggled at Newcastle when having to deal with multiple games a week and when his sides have a few key injuries and adapting a team to the loss of a key player or two.

Their away form is alarmingly bad.

Such a poor game. What did we learn from tonight?

You can why Newcastle have only won 6 points on the road.
You can see why United won’t be classed as challengers anytime soon.
I know nothing about the handball rule, especially when you’re fouling another player in the box.
The commentators have influence over VAR, Neville giving the VAR the out they needed, and they grabbed it with both hands.

Overall, I think the league is very poor this season. To watch that and know that both of these aren’t fighting relegation, is mind boggling.

Yes, I noticed how quickly, loudly and how forcibly Neville dismissed the penalty appeal, almost as though his comments were directed at VAR.
I don't know if VAR can hear the commentators, but it was interesting that when they turned down the penalty appeal, their explanation was almost word-for-word what Neville said.

I don’t think Pep tolerates it. Feigning injury is despicable. It has crept into the game in the last five years. Worse than diving and time wasting. The players should be hammered for it.
